Dr Miguel Nino Zarazua

Miguel Nino Zarazua is a BWPI Honorary Research Fellow. He was co-investigator of the cross-country research project: Social Transfers and Chronic Poverty: A Policy Analysis Research Project. Miguel holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Sheffield and an MSc in International Development from Bath University. He has experience in development research, in projects funded by the World Bank, International Labour Organisation, UK Department for International Development, and governmental agencies and non-profit organisations in Latin America, Africa and Asia. |
| Current research areas | Social Protection; poverty dynamics (and its multi-dimensionality); microfinance, and applied econometrics (with particular focus on impact assessment methods). |
