The BWPI and poverty research

BWPI research aims to increase understanding of why people are poor, what keeps them trapped in poverty and what can be done to help them.

Research strategy

BWPI research is rigorous and cross-disciplinary. It brings together anthropologists, economists, human geographers, political scientists, sociologists, architects and planners with the common goal of eradicating poverty.
